The GMR Hyderabad International Airport Ltd (GHIAL) is implementing a smart queue management solution using advanced camera based Video Analytics to ensure passenger safety amid the pandemic.
GHIAL has collaborated with tech partner AllGoVision Technologies to implement queue management through video analytics to monitor passenger waiting time at touch points like entry, check-in, security and immigration to enhance safety. This system using AI models estimates passenger statistics over time, constantly monitoring and taking corrective actions for security such as camera tampering, loitering, parking violation and wrong way detection.
“Leveraging the AI Machine Learning technology, our detailed Queue Management solution aids in providing accurate business intelligence for managing people at Airport entrance, service counters, security booths and immigration counters,” said K Srinivasan, CEO-AllGoVision.
