Reliance Jio Infocomm has been making headlines for some time. There have been reports in media and websites talking about the existence of purported JioCoin Apps soliciting investments in crypto currencies from people. But, now Reliance Jio has released a public announcement in the interest of people.
Some publications even pointed out that the JioCoin launch was scheduled for 2018.Declining from any such initiative announced, such as JioCoin Apps, the company has released a warning to safeguard people from any loss. In the announcement, Reliance Jio stated that there are no such apps offered by the company or its affiliates/ associates.
According too the statement released in media, “Any such apps using the JioCoin name are fake and people are advised to refrain from dealing with any of them.”
The company also emphasised that Reliance Jio will take a serious note of such fraudulent attempts by unscrupulous persons to misguide the public in the name of Jio. It also stated that the company reserves the right to take appropriate legal recourse.
Currently, Jio is eyeing to bring transformational changes in the Indian digital services space. Enabling the vision of Digital India for 1.2 billion Indians, it will propel India into global leadership in the digital economy.
