Kerlink and Aexonis have collaborated to simplify Internet of Things (IoT) deployment. The association will open the market to organizations that can manage their own IoT network.
Kerlink is helping Aexonis build a live air IoT interoperability center of excellence at Aexonis’ offices in the city of Les Ulis, near Paris. The facility will bring together manufacturers, developers and other solution providers. They will be able to to test, integrate and experiment with solutions and demonstrate the high value of common IoT propositions.
Kerlink provided the IoT interoperability for the testing facility and environment of excellence with Wirnet iBTS LoRaWAN gateways to build a low power wide area (LPWA) network for manufacturers to test their LoRaWAN devices. Whereas, Aexonis provided a virtualised mediation-and-management software suite. The suite comprised of a variety of IoT protocols, technologies, devices and applications and make them work together intelligently as one comprehensive holistic deployment.
“Aexonis is dedicated to simplifying IoT network deployments and bridging the gap between the growing list of disparate IoT applications, network access technologies and connected devices,” said Benjamin Maury, Global Head of Business Development and Strategic Partnerships at Kerlink.
“With the installation of Kerlink’s LoraWAN gateways, we now have a variety of LoRaWAN IoT devices turned up and controlled through the Aexonis CemTore mediation and management software, and we will be working aggressively to expand our LoRaWAN device interoperability in the future,” said Luis Alves, vice president of strategic alliances at Aexonis.
