What say you, to an open source development board that promises to Revolutionise Internet of Things (RIoT)? Let’s take a look.
An open source developer board that can run your favourite Android flavour on a breezy 1GHz ARM A9 processor, RIoTboard is the latest kit on the block. One of the firsts things I noticed about this board is that it has an impressive number of connectors for a board this small in size.
Specifications
The board features a whole gigabyte of RAM, and 4 GB of memory on its eMMC. The RAM is DDR3 clocked at 800MHz. This board also has a decent GPU that can output full HD video, and HDMi port to match. RIoT comes with Android 4.3 Jellybean, but it can also run GNU/Linux distros, Ubuntu and even Windows.
