Well here’s a cool tool that I found which will let you add a Siri/Cortana styled interface to the mobile app for your device. In a nutshell, api.ai lets your users speak to your product and order them around.
Although the current testimonials on their website don’t seem to include any actual design engineers who have used the tool, it does look very promising. For instance, the tool can provide support conversational support as a complete solution which includes voice recognition, speech understanding and text-to-speech features. Looks like a lot of headaches out the window.
It also supports platforms across the board — iOs, Android and Python are the ones specifically listed but they also promise “many more”.
