Machfu has released the MACH-3 Industrial Internet of Things (IIoT) Gateway, a device that will allow the companies dealing in energy, water, oil and gas and other industrial segments to seamlessly connect traditional infrastructure to cloud based IoT and Supervisory Control and Data Acquisition (SCADA) systems. This IIoT platform will be deployed for the management of devices by providing a secure and customizable application framework to process data properly.
With the help of this device, the data can be managed from different type of sources like sensors, controllers and smart grids. Bearing resemblance to a smartphone, this platform will provide enterprises resilience in adding/deleting apps and drivers over the system duration. Adding to it, this IIoT platform has a defense-in-depth security level that stretches from physical to the application layers. The company also quoted that these IIoT solutions focus on minimizing the risks while at the same time reducing the response time and the connectivity costs.
“The MACH-3 IIoT Gateway allows companies to securely gather actionable data from legacy infrastructure in an elegant and straightforward manner, enabling them to make informed, strategic business decisions in ways that would previously require enormous financial and time investments,” said Prakash Chakravarthi, CEO, Machfu.
In the energy industry, the gateway can transport a sensor as a DNP3 object to head-end SCADA applications over both private and public networks. Also, it will provide a secured cellular infrastructure to the private networks.
