Considering, Vietnam is an important market for Avnet Asia Pte Ltd., it has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the Hanoi University of Science and Technology (HUST). As per the MoU, students from the School of Electrical Engineering at the university will soon be equipped with knowledge on key IoT trends and innovations. Team of Avnet technical experts will introduce, skills for deploying Internet of Things (IoT) applications to the students in their second and third year.

The masterclasses on key IoT trends developed by Avnet will consist of workshops and seminars focused on the building blocks of IoT which encompass microprocessor usage, power design, motor control and measurement. Students will also be introduced to demonstration kits from Avnet and its suppliers. These can be applied to create various applications for the automotive, industrial, communication and other industries.
Earlier last month, the company held its Embedded Vision TechDay seminar series in Hanoi and Ho Chi Min for local engineers, purchasers and business owners to learn about the latest developments in embedded vision. Read more…
