Home automation is all about creating an automated environment involving control of ventilation system, heating systems, air conditioning, water and gas distribution including smart appliance. the safety and security systems of a home can also be automated and integrated with control systems using web interface.
In an modern home automation environment, switches and sensors are connected to gateways, usually involving a mesh network for communication between devices. The “Hub” as it is called because of connected devices linked to a central control system, could be paired and controlled with a smart phone, tablet or even laptop. Apart from integrating smart devices, the system can also recognize voices etc. and take commands using voice controls too.
