The QCS6490 SoC from Qualcomm is designed for Enterprise and IoT applications including support for 5G and Wi-Fi 6E. Supporting bi-directional Multi-User MIMO, it can deliver a data rate of up to 3.6 Gbps. The SoC has an integrated Kryo 670 CPU built on Arm v8 Cortex technology and an 812 MHz Adreno 642L GPU.
The SoC includes an Adreno 633 VPU for high-quality, ultra-HD video encode & decode, a 6th generation Hexagon DSP Qualcomm AI Engine with dual Hexagon Vector eXtensions (HVX), Hexagon Co-processor (Hexagon CP) 2.0 and Hexagon Tensor Accelerator.
The image processing support is the Qualcomm Spectra 570L 14-bit image signal processing (ISP) and it also includes two lite ISPs to support up to five concurrent cameras. The SoC can be controlled via PCIe, USB 3.1 Type-C with DisplayPort and USB 2.0 interfaces.
The QCS6490 supports Qualcomm’s 4K QAM, 160 MHz bandwidth and advanced Dual Band Simultaneous functionalities for connectivity and Qualcomm Low-Power Picture Enhancement & Qualcomm True Palette display features. It also supports GPS, GLONASS, NavIC, BeiDou, Galileo, QZSS, and SBAS location services.
