LoRA Technology Makes Waves In Smart Home Management 

First LoRa technology-based smart home platform provider KingTing Tech (YoSmart) is bringing comfort and convenience into smart homes by launching a series of smart home products. Leveraging Semtech’s LoRa technology, the solutions are said to enable low-power and cost-effective smart home management. These products include a HUB, a thermostat, a sprinkler, door lock, and a smart outlet. Commenting about the new launch, Mike Wong, Vice President of Marketing for Semtech’s Wireless and Sensing Products Group, said, “LoRa Technology works on a micro-scale, like a home, and just as well at a great distance. Low-cost LTE-M Module On AT&T’s IoT Accelerator Program

Sequans is helping to accelerate IoT development by making available a new LTE-M module, the IMS2, through AT&T’s IoT Accelerator Program. Based on Sequans’ Monarch LTE-M/NB-IoT Platform, the module is available in an ETSI 1915 footprint, supports AT&T’s bands 2, 4, and 12, IoT interfaces, and is an ideal solution for the design of numerous types of IoT devices in numerous markets, including smart home and business, utilities, retail, industrial, and consumer. BACnet Stack Upgraded For Building Automation Developers

SoftDEL is enabling OEMs within building automation ecosystem develop smart, connected products for the Internet of Things by launching BACnet stack with protocol revision 18.
