The chip offers dual display and high-speed interfaces as extra features. At the Consumer Electronics Show (CES) 2023, MediaTek will showcase the new chipset as part of a demo.
The octa-core Genio 700 chipset, developed with smart home, smart retail, and industrial IoT solutions in mind, has just been released by chip manufacturer MediaTek. The chipset will be commercially available beginning in Q2 2023 and has support for FHD60+4K60 displays as well as an ISP (Image Signal Processor) for enhanced visuals.
The MediaTek Genio 700 is an IoT (Internet of Things) chipset with two ARM A78 cores running at 2.2GHz, with a focus on power economy. In addition, the chipset enables designers to add Yocto Linux, Ubuntu, and Android features to their creations.
Regardless of the type of application, users may easily and quickly construct their own solutions with this help, claims the business.
