Acronis launches cloud data centre in Mumbai

Acronis, a global provider in cyber protection announced the launch of new Cloud Data Centre in Mumbai. This comes in collaboration with local partners Compuage India, Ingram Micro and Crayon Software Experts.

As one among its 111 data centres deployed across the globe, the company gives service providers access to full range of cyber protection solutions to build new services while delivering faster access, constant data availability and data sovereignty to their clients, according to a press statement. 

The new initiative is said to include global management for all data centres, geographic redundancy, control for local partners, and a local disaster recovery site.

Rustom Hiramaneck, Acronis General Manager in South Asia, said, the new data centre was important to their partners in India. “With one less thing to worry about, they now know their clients’ data is locally backed by a global partner who is on standby 24×7 – ready to resolve any issues,” he added.

The global network of Acronis Cloud Data Centers includes locations in the U.S., Canada, U.K., Switzerland, France, Germany, Japan, Australia, New Zealand, Bhutan, South Korea and Singapore. The local service providers now have a location within the country to store business-critical data for their clients. The company said the Managed service providers (MSPs) can also benefit from the full range of managed cloud and cyber protection solutions.
