The new moneo IIoT platform from ifm electronic offers a convenient and cost-effective solution to the challenge of converting the enormous amount of data generated by modern plant and machines into useful information that can be used to decrease downtime, optimise efficiency, and cut costs. It was developed specifically to be versatile, easy to use, and quick to implement.

Users of moneo can easily customise the modular system to meet their own demands. Moneo OS, which offers flow modelling, automatic alarm functions, and management tools for all other moneo software modules, is at the centre of the system. Among these is moneo RTM, which can be used to construct completely customizable user interfaces that enable plant and machine information to be presented in numerical, graphical, or dashboard formats, depending on the user’s preferences. Additionally, moneo RTM offers robust tools for summarising and analysing the information gathered by the moneo system.
Other software modules in the moneo line include moneo configure, which provides strong management, fault-finding, and configuration capabilities for connected IO-Link sensors and devices; moneo infopoints, which gathers data from connected devices; moneo RTM-AVA, which enables the recording of vibration spectrum for detailed analysis; and moneo edgeconnect, which enables simple data exchange between ifm sensors and devices connected to your moneo installation with ease.
Moneo Appliance, a ruggedized industrial PC that is preconfigured to serve as an easy foundation for moneo deployments, is offered by ifm as a supplement to the moneo software modules. However, the modules are also offered in versions that can be used on a typical PC running the Microsoft Windows operating system for users who choose to use alternate hardware.
