Wipro Lighting Partners with Enlighted to Provide IoT Solutions

Lighting solutions firm Wipro Lighting on Tuesday announced its partnership with IoT solutions provider Enlighted to enhance smart workplaces. The partners are said integrate technologies for smarter building across multiple segments. Enlighted IoT sensors are integrated with Wipro’s future-ready luminaries forming the base for the company’s smart space solutions. 

The IoT firm’s cloud connected sensors distributed through lighting fixtures and under desks will create a dense infrastructure that constantly collects data on the happenings in the building. The data can be accessed for use in software applications through APIs – provides utilisation analytics, services for people and insights in real time. This is said to improve operating efficiencies and occupant experience, thus enhancing productivity and optimising the use of resources.

The embedded sensors into luminaries will enable integration with the HVAC and also detect motion trails through heat mapping to provide safe workspace during the pandemic. The company said Enlighted’s Open API platform in convergence with Wipro will build in confidence to reopen safe office spaces.
