IoT India Awards: Country’s First Awards For IoT Deployments

  • The first edition of IoT India Awards was hosted during the second day (15 Feb 2020) of EFY Group’s twin shows
  • A total of 20 awards were presented to IoT deploying teams among different categories
  • The focus of these awards is to accelerate IoT deployments

The second afternoon of IotShow.in and India Electronics Weeks events saw 20 organisations win IoT deployment awards in national and regional categories. Aimed towards accelerating IoT deployments in India, EFY Group, had started inviting applications for the same three months prior to its twin events.

“There are going to be billions of sensors deployed in the coming era. While everyone in the IoT Ecosystem gets their due recognition, IoT India Awards is a beginning by EFY Group to honor the IoT deployments and their deployers. The aim of these awards is not merely limited to honoring the deployers but it is also focused towards accelerating the deployments in the IoT space. We are sure that these will keep getting bigger and better every year,” stated Mr Ramesh Chopra, Executive Chairman, EFY Group.

Gokul P Deshpande, founder, C/MOS, Anand Tamboli, CEO, Anand Tamboli and Company, Sadaf Siddiqui, Marketiny Initiative Manager, Keysight Technologies, Saurabh Sharma, co-founder & CEO, Beconnected Beyond Evolution Tech Solutions, Mohandas Ukkandath, MD, Sparr Electronics and Sanil Kumar, Chief Architect, Open SDS, Huawei India formed the jury for the first edition of IoT India Awards. All the awards were handed over to the winners by Mr Ramesh Chopra.

Nine major categories

The first edition of the IoT India Awards powered by ProfitFromIoT.com website saw awards distributed among nine different categories. Customised product solutions, logistics and asset management, resource management and conservation, logistics and asset management, and smart cities were four categories that awards were presented on both national as well as regional basis. All the awards were handed over to the winners by Mr Ramesh Chopra.

Brainchild Technologies team won the customised product solution award in the national category. The same award, in the regional categiry went to the NEC Technologies team. Amrita University won the using Iot for disaster management award in the national category.

Larsen and Toubro Infotech won the smart cities regional category award for West Region, while Tech Mahindra won one for the same for North Region. In fact, Tech Mahindra also won an award for smart cities in the national category. The brand was the only one to win two IoT India Awards at the IoT Show 2020.

“It feels great to be a winner at the first edition of IoT India Awards. Knowing that your efforts are being recognised by the end-customers as well as by the industry is an unmatched feeling,” stated Reena, Alliances and Sales Team, Tech Mahindra.

IoT India Awards 2020 Winners with Mr Ramesh Chopra

National category winners

The LivNSense Technologies team won the Industrial IoT/Industry 4.0 IoT India award in the national category. Senra Tech won the logistics and asset management award while ES Electronics Team won an IoT India Award for resource management and conservation in the national category.

Unlimit IoT team won an award in the smart automobiles category while Think Proxi team won one in the smart buildings category. The Astrum Innovations team won an IoT India award in the heatlhcare category.

Regional category winners

The NEC Technologies India team won an IoT India award in the customised product solution category for North region. The industrial IoT/Industry 4.0 awards for the North, South and West regions went to teams of Auring Technologies, Happiest Minds and Amphenol Interconnect India, respectively.

Sensorise Digital Services Private Limited team won a IoT India Awards in the logistics and asset management award for the North Region. The Syook team won the same award for South Region.

The IRAM team won an IoT India awards in the smart cities deployments for the South Region. These awards for the West and North regions went to Larsen and Toubro Infotech and Tech Mahindra, respectively.

“IoT India Awards will encourage he industry to come up with more solutions. These awards are going to motivate a lot more starting now in the IoT deployments space,” added Reena.
