Chief Justice of India (CJI) designate Sharad Arvind Bobde has advocated the use of Artificial Intelligence (AI) in courts. According to a report by Asian News International ( ANI), Bobde added that though the justice delivery system in India is good but it may require some minor changes. He suggested the use of technology like AI to improve the system further.

Justice Bobde will become the 47th Chief Justice of India. He will be succeeding Justice Ranjan Gogoi. He also told ANI that some long and short term measures need to be introduced to make the justice delivery system better. The short term measures include better staffing, better arrangements and long term measures will be  better legal education he added.
