In order to create cutting-edge worldwide Internet of Things (IoT), Smart-IoT, and digital transformation solutions, e& and E-Space, a global space company, will collaborate.
The partnership seeks to provide seamless smart connectivity and digital solutions for applications on land, in the sea, and in the air. Both sides will concentrate on the innovative creation of digital and IoT solutions that are cloud-native and enhanced with edge AI. With the help of E-Space’s space system and e&’s terrestrial infrastructure, as well as its global Low Earth Orbit (LEO) constellation and device powers, the two will develop new business models to support the IoT and the global enterprise’s and governments’ digital transformation journeys.
Peer-to-peer space-based communications, which also satisfy the requirements for international security and data protection policies and regulations, will be used to connect e& customer data directly to private data centres without being hindered by commercial traffic. To enable intelligent decisions and automated actions at scale, both parties will work together to create IoT and digital solutions based on AI at the edge as well as across the network. The will also build international IoT use cases that have the potential to generate new sources of income.
“Telecommunications and space technology have a natural synergy, offering enormous opportunities for telco companies to expand their reach and capabilities. From satellite internet to space-based sensors, at e& we see the potential to revolutionise the way we connect, communicate and gather data from space,” said Mikhail Gerchuk, chief executive officer at e& international.
“With our advanced infrastructure and E-Space’s next-generation space system, optimised with edge AI, we will offer a multi-technology platform enabling our customers to embrace a digital-first lifestyle more efficiently. We are confident that we can leverage our combined expertise to create seamless global digital IoT experiences to help our customers advance their digital transformation plans.”
