Arrow Electronics has been appointed as the first reseller for the MindSphere Program for industrial Internet of Things (IIoT) and solution and technology providers in the Europe, Middle East and Africa (EMEA) region. It will market MindSphere hardware and software products which includes the MindConnect IoT 2040 and MindConnect nano hardware as well.
MindSphere is a cloud-based, open IoT operating system developed by Siemens. It connects products, plants, systems and machines that helps businesses to access data generated by IoT with advanced analytics.
IoT integration and Industry 4.0
Arrow Electronics is already a MindSphere partner, with multiple technical staff trained by Siemens through the MindSphere technical curriculum. As per the company, it has many MindSphere applications in development and a joint go-to-market agreement to help customers in adding business value through IoT technology. The new reseller agreement will help Arrow to support companies looking at IoT integration and Industry 4.0 claims the company.
