Infineon Security Partner Network (ISPN) is a place for security experts to deliver security solutions to providers of connected devices and applications

The  Internet of Things (IoT) is evolving at an incredibly rapid pace. From huge industrial machines to tiny remote sensors, IoT connects millions of devices. However, performance and security requirements vary considerably from one application to another.

Considering the requirement of customized solutions, Infineon Technologies has initiated the Infineon Security Partner Network (ISPN) – a place for security experts to deliver security solutions to providers of connected devices and applications.

The network helps understand security needs on behalf of use cases and offers tailored support for the implementation and deployment of security solutions, based on Infineon’s hardware-based security products.

ISPN members IKV(InfoKeyVault Technology), Mocana and Wibu-Systems will present their security solutions at this year’s electronica starting next week in Munich. Although addressing various markets and applications, all demonstrations are based on embedded security from Infineon.

Security solutions offered by Infineon Security Partners

Smart Lock: Serviced apartments, corporate housing or holiday rentals – shared living services must be temporarily accessible. IKV’s Smart Lock with an Infineon OPTIGA Trust X Secure Element enables mutual authentication of provider and tenant and supports access control without the hassle involved in physically managing cards or keys. It enables secured identification with wearables via mobile devices based on state-of-the art encryption mechanisms.

Mocana’s TrustPoint endpoint protection software and TrustCenter endpoint management services: Leveraging the OPTIGA Trusted Platform Module (TPM) 2.0, Mocana defends industrial control systems from unauthorized updates and manipulative actions that could bring production to a halt and cause huge physical and financial damages.

CodeMeter technology: Wibu-Systems’ CodeMeter technology powered with Infineon’s SLM 97 security controller provides IP protection for software, firmware, and data throughout the complete supply chain and enables new business models for data commerce.

The ISPN members have been selected by Infineon on the basis of their system security competence and their proven ability to design and deliver strong and trustworthy successful security solutions for its customers. Their activities are diverse and include security consulting, security solution provision, electronic design, systems integration and trust services management. For some, offers are off-the-shelf, while for others, offers are custom-built.
