According to a recent report by Hindu Business Line, Robert Bosch Engineering and Business Solutions (RBEI) has unveiled its Internet of Things (IoT) enabled public infrastructure monitoring solution.
Vijay Ratnaparkhe, President and Managing Director, RBEI told the news daily that Bosch’s IoT-based solution is made in Bengaluru for India. The solution was developed to address a safety issue in our growing cities. The solution will enable manufacturers to manage a smooth and safe movement of a large number of people using public infrastructure.
About the solution
The solution provides input on critical safety, machine maintenance and early warnings on malfunctions. It will also provide real-time alerts and notifications via e-mails and messages to users. Also, it is a non-intrusive, retrofit solution that can be set up in a few minutes.
Soumitra Bhattacharya, managing director, Bosch Limited, and president, Bosch India Group told the news daily that Bosch has been manufacturing in India for over 65 years. The company is committed to the State and will continue to offer a wide range of smart solutions in the future.
The solution was unveiled by the Chief Minister of Karnataka, BS Yediyurappa.
