Aeris Communications, a pioneer in the Internet of Things (IoT) and M2M technologies, has appointed industry veterans from NDTV Group, Intel Corporation, Vodafone-Idea Limited, Aircel and many other companies to expand its business leadership team in India.
Aeris, which started its IoT business in India in 2016, has been a pioneer in providing a safe, secure and reliable IoT ecosystem in the country. With these new additions, the company aims to take its business to the next level.
With the expertise these new board members bring, Aeris believes its business in the APAC region, specially India, will undergo a transformational change.
By expanding it leadership team, the company has also reaffirmed its commitment of transforming the future of the IoT ecosystem while strengthening its presence in the regions of operations.

The newly appointed leaders are:
- Ranjeet Koul joins Aeris as the Vice President and Country Manager for APAC and MEA regions from Intel Corporation. He brings more than 23 years of experience in the field of sales and marketing.
- Sameer Mahapatra from Vodafone Idea Limited will lead the India and SAARC Sales for Aeris. He comes with 20 years of experience in the industry.
- Ravi Asawa, who was with NDTV Group, joins Aeris as its Chief Financial Officer, India. He comes with a total of 20 years of industry experience.
- Vishal Bhatia joins as VP Product Management. He has 21 years of experience in product business planning, thought leadership, product strategy, conceptualization and innovation.
- Rakesh Gupta joins Aeris as VP Global Services from Impetus Technologies and brings on-board more than 23 years of Global IT experience.
- Gaurav Jain from Aircel is appointed as the VP of Global SoC for Aeris. He has 31 years of experience in emerging and large telecom markets, spanning global geographies.
- Rajeev Arora from Aircel joins Aeris as VP of IoT Customer Solution Deployment─India, Asia and Africa. He comes with 24 years of deep industry and customer knowledge across global markets.
- Navneet Sharma joins Aeris as VP Qualdev from GEP. He brings 18 years of experience and expertise in building frameworks business process automation and establishing Centre of Excellence for Test Automation.
