Connected World magazine has announced the winners of this year’s Women of M2M and IoT Award.

This year, the seventh annual awards programme recognized women as trailblazers and innovators in the IoT space.

The Women of M2M and IoT list is comprised of some of the most powerful women in the technology sector, representing some of the most innovative companies in the world.

These women were selected because they each brought a unique lens to their respective companies that has helped push connected technologies forward.

The winners were selected based on how they have contributed to the growth of technology in the industry, helped their company grow and progress, and mentored other women in business, technology or her local community.

u-blox’s Senior 5G Tech Lead Sylvia Lu is one of the winners of the Women of M2M/IoT 2019 Award. She has been instrumental in the evolution of global wireless connectivity standards for the cellular Internet of Things.

“I am delighted to be awarded the prestigious Woman of M2M/IoT 2019 Award by Connected World,” said Sylvia Lu.
