The National Artificial Intelligence Resource Portal (NAIRP) is a learning portal for AI-related study resources. Students, researchers and professionals working in IoT and AI-related domains will hugely benefit from the wide variety of learning resources available on the platform.

NAIRP is powered by the cloud machine learning platform called Amazon SageMaker.

Partha Pratim Chakrabarti, former IIT Director and Professor, IIT Kharagpur, said, “The contributions from AWS will enable us to provide cloud computing to all learners and reduce the high barrier to make training in AI more available.”

Professor Sudeshna Sarkar, Head, Centre for Artificial Intelligence at IIT Kharagpur said that there is a demand for professionals skilled in AI.

In today’s highly-competitive electronics industry, equipping oneself with AI skills is a major boost in understanding and implementing AI-based and IoT-based technologies.

Bratin Saha, Vice President, AWS Machine Learning and Engines, said, “We are delighted to work with IIT Kharagpur in developing the NAIRP platform.”

The initiative is a part of the National Digital Library of India (NDLI) project by IIT Kharagpur and funded by the Ministry of Human Resources Development.
