With a vision to expand and grow their services, business Cloud software firm Infor have announced a new India Business Unit (IBU) as a separate region that comprises India, Nepal, Bangladesh and Pakistan.

The company has also named Ranga Pothula as the Managing Director and General Manager of the IBU.

The way forward towards an exciting opportunity

In a statement issued by Charles Phillips, Chief Executive Officer, Infor, he has claimed India to be a long strategic market for Infor essential to the growth of his overall business. He has also expected that India and other regions will begin this in full force with an IPO available in the offering.

He also added that the new IBU is Infor’s strategic response to the immense market opportunities afforded by digital technologies such as Cloud, mobility, artificial intelligence and IoT to accelerate innovation across public and private sectors in India.
Ranga Pothula, Managing Director and General Manager, IBU hopes that the ongoing digital transformation continues to sweep enterprises and SME businesses in India and beyond which will help Infor to deliver mission-critical business software in the Cloud.
