Samsung Sets Up Innovation Lab at IIT Guwahati To Train on AI, IoT, ML

Samsung has set up an innovation lab at IIT-Guwahati which will train students in Internet of Things (IoT), embedded systems, Artificial Intelligence (AI) and Machine Learning (ML). It aims to teach students industry-relevant skills for the future.

Till now, Samsung has set up up five innovation labs in IIT-Delhi, IIT-Kanpur, IIT-Hyderabad, IIT-Kharagpur and IIT-Roorkee. These labs are part of the Digital Academy programme of the company and the company will open more such labs in the future.

Tutorials and approach documents

Presently, the lab will focus on collaborative research with Samsung and courses which will be taught over 14 weeks through classroom lectures, assignments and lab room sessions, self-study and mini projects. The company will also provide tutorials and approach documents to students for practical exercises.
