sifyCloud data storage and management platform SwiftStack has announced that it has agreed to be acquired by graphics processing and artificial intelligence (AI) specialist NVIDIA. The company offers cloud storage capabilities that are already embedded with NVIDIA’s DGX server and supercomputer, which are specifically built to accelerate AI applications.

The terms of the deal have not been revealed. In three previous funding rounds, SwiftStack had raised $23.6 million from Mayfield Fund, OpenView Venture Partners, Storm Ventures, and UMC Capital.

The company had joined NVIDIA’s partner network in mid-2019 to provide solutions for AI and machine learning. SwiftStack’s technology can be deployed in the client’s core systems and in the cloud and “at the edge. It allows real-time, on-site data processing. The solutions are used in different applications in supercomputing, internet, automotive, and media industries.
