According to a report, ADT and Google are looking forward to a long term partnership to create the next generation of smart home security offerings. This partnership would consist of Google’s machine learning technology, with ADT’s installation, service, and professional monitoring network to create a more helpful smart home and integrated experience for customers across the United States.
It has also been reported that Google would be buying a 6.6% stake and would invest around $450 million in a deal that would allow it to provide service to customers of its Nest homes security solutions.
The benefit
The companies would work together to combine certain Nest Products like cameras, doorbells, thermostats, and alarm systems with ADT’s installation service and professional monitoring network. ADT is also expected to provide certain Google devices to its customers beginning this year and to expand the integration in 2021. Each company would also commit $150 million for co-marketing, product development, technology, and employee training

ADT also claims to offer certain Google devices to its customers beginning this year and to expand the integration in 2021.
