Schneider Electric Launches IoT-Based Smart Home Solutions In India

Schneider Electric has launched internet of things (IoT) based smart-home solutions called Easy Homes in India. Customers will be able to manage power in their homes through a single app says the company.

Srinivas Shanbhogue, vice president, retail business, Schneider Electric India said, “At Schneider Electric, we are committed to providing ease of access to the new age customers through energy efficient smart home solutions. Apart from ensuring energy efficiency, smart home solutions should be easy to install and operate thereby making life easy for individuals navigating small struggles of managing electricity touch points in the home seamlessly.”

Four smart interfaces

The Easy Homes by Schneider Electric support four interfaces. These include voice commands, smart phone, remote and switches. All these four interfaces, as per the company, can be used to control power usage in the house. It will convert homes into a smart home and turn every switch and appliance into a connected device as per the company.

The company is retailing these in prime, grand and luxury packages. It has priced the prime variant at Rs 28,998, grand at Rs 56,998 and the luxury variant at Rs 63,998.
