Bharat Forge chooses ThingWorx IoT Platform

PTC’s ThingWorx will help Bharat Forge Limited to monitor its factory operations. ThingWorx IoT Platform from PTC is expected to improve operational efficiency and factory quality.

Pune-based Bharat Forge has presence across automotive, power, oil and gas, construction and mining, rail, marine and aerospace.
Globally the company constantly enhance and keep transforming its manufacturing facilities. Continuing with its practice of improving operational efficiency of its manufacturing facilities, Bharat Forge selected ThingWorx IoT Platform.
ThingWorx IoT will offer rapid application enablement, connectivity, machine learning (ML) capabilities, augmented reality, and integration with leading device cloud offerings.
Speaking on the partnership with PTC, Yogesh Zope, Group CIO, Bharat Forge Limited said, “Industry 4.0 is critical for India’s manufacturing sector to thrive in the next decade. Providing a bird’s eye view, it will help in identifying trouble spots within the facility by observing real-time data on the factory floor with augmented reality (AR).
