Microsoft Azure Certified for IoT validates eWBM’s ability to jumpstart customers’ IoT projects with pre-tested device and operating system combinations

eWBM, a fabless SoC company offering security microcontrollers (MCUs) and modules for a range of Internet of Things (IoT) applications, has joined Microsoft Azure Certified for IoT, in order to ensure that customers get their IoT solutions function speedily with software and hardware that has been pre-tested and verified to work with Microsoft Azure IoT services.

Microsoft Azure Certified for IoT enables businesses to reach their customers at their place, working with an ecosystem of platforms and devices, enabling faster time for production.

eWBM produces a range of secure IoT products, powered by its MCU – MS500, including Microsoft Azure Certified secure Sensor to Ethernet module (sS2E). This module features built-in transport layer security (TLS) protocols. It also has direct link to the Microsoft Azure IoT Cloud Servers where customers will enjoy creating a broad variety of secure IoT sensor systems on Azure platforms.

Save time and effort of customers

Speaking about the development, Stephen Oh, CEO of eWBM, said, “Microsoft Azure Certified for IoT validates our ability to jumpstart customers’ IoT projects with pre-tested device and operating system combinations. Decreasing the usual customisation and work required for compatibility ensures eWBM helps customers get started quickly on their IoT solution.”

Jerry Lee, Director – Marketing for Azure IoT, Microsoft Corp., said, “Microsoft Azure Certified for IoT extends our promise to bring IoT to business scale, starting with interoperable solutions from leading technology companies around the world. With trusted offerings and verified partners, Microsoft Azure Certified for IoT accelerates the deployment of IoT even further.”

As IoT projects are complex and time consuming to implement, it is difficult for customers to choose and connect the right set of devices, sensors or assets to the cloud. To start their IoT projects with ease, customers look for certified platforms and devices that are tested for usability, readiness and compatibility with Microsoft Azure IoT Suite.

Customers are able to save their efforts and time on project specifications and RFP procedures, by selecting a partner from Microsoft Azure Certified for IoT program.
