Aruba’s Edge platform is designed to provide simple, secure and smart networking, to support integrated experiences without compromising simplicity for end users
Aruba, a Hewlett Packard Enterprise (HPE) company, announced the official launch of its Experience Edge platform that intuitively assimilates existing cloud, mobile and Internet of Things (IoT) data into a simple, single system to transform customer experiences.
Experience Edge comprises comprehensive infrastructure along with a software platform that is developed to power smart and connected solutions without compromising the security.
Commenting on the development, Kenneth Ma, Director and General Manager, Hong Kong and Macau, for Aruba, said, “Aruba’s Edge is where we live, where we work, where we go, where we learn. It is where experiences come to life. The rise of smarter, connected stores, hospitals, schools and workplaces, in combination with the expansion of mobility and cloud services, will drive the next decade of sustainable advantage.”
“In Hong Kong, most IT departments utilise mixed platforms and products, with different infrastructure from multiple vendors, working against rather than alongside each other. Aruba’s Edge helps address this existing landscape of siloed services, fragmented networks and disconnected providers to help customers remain competitive in today’s complex landscape,” said Kenneth Ma.
Support integrated experiences
The Edge platform of Aruba is designed to provide simple, secure and smart networking, in order to support integrated experiences without compromising simplicity for end users, security operators, IT departments, and for Line of Business (LoB).
The platform changes the game for IT networks, helping organisations in streamlining and integrating to get more out of current investments, respond speedily to changing environment and eventually get ahead of competition.
- Unified Network:A simplified edge-to-cloud architecture for wired and wireless connectivity allowing for superior network management. Working well within multi-vendor structures, Aruba’s Unified Network helps companies to offer smooth, integrated network experiences.
- 360 Secure Fabric:Centralised role-based access controls and dynamic policy enforcement. The 360 Secure Fabric learns about a network’s operations and recognises when anomalies occur, in order to adapt and define the right policies, enforcement and remediation.
- AI-powered Smarts:AI-powered Smarts help IT leaders in optimising network performance, automating tasks, and providing valuable insights to security operators and the line of business.
