Array Networks Targets US$9 Million Revenue from Smart Cities by 2019

The leading network functions provider,Array Networks, Inc. is targeting US$ 9 million revenue from smart city projects by 2019.It has recently generated US$ 5 million revenue from an ambitious initiative of the Government of India named Smart Cities Mission till now.

As per information,Array is supporting ‘100 Smart Cities Mission’ and has been engaged for multiple cities namely Ahmedabad (Gujarat), Nagpur (Maharashtra) and Davangere (Karnataka).

In 2018, these projects have contributed 40 per cent to the growth of Array.The company is aiming to be part of 20 more smart cities and targeting to keep the growth momentum by the end of 2019.

Shibu Paul, Regional Sales Director – APAC, Array Networks has said that they are glad to be a part of making ‘Smart Cities’ real. They have been contributing to the initiative since it started back in 2015. The smart cities will be accelerating India’s economic growth and at the same time will improve lifestyle.

Smart infrastructure and smart data centers (DCs) are crucial parts of smart cities. Array has supported in developing futuristic data centers for smart cities by coming out with unique concepts like hyperconvergence in networking into the DCs.It include ADC, DDoS, web application firewall, Web vulnerability scanner, SSLi and Array MARS visibility and analytics tool.
