It is important for ADLINK to work with cloud computing experts, such as Google Cloud, to provide the best end-to-end IoT solutions in the industry
ADLINK Technology, a leading global provider of edge computing solutions, announced that it has entered into a partnership with Google Cloud to integrate its hardware and software solutions with the Google Cloud Internet of Things (IoT) offerings. This will help the company in providing its customers with an easy way to added business value by harnessing and analysing crucial operational data.
ADLINK’s contribution of integrated hardware and software also comprises ADLINK Edge services to channel operational data and allow intelligent decision-making by streaming to Google Cloud for deeper insight. As there is no programming required, ADLINK Edge rapidly connects the previously unconnected operational sensors and equipment.
By tapping into native communication protocols, data can be gathered and streamed at the edge and securely between, databases devices and to GCP, allowing analysis and simple visualisation to inform business decisions and optimise operations.
Best end-to-end IoT solutions
Speaking about the development, Lawrence Ross, GM of ADLINK Software and Solutions, said, “Because our area of expertise is at the edge, it is important for us to work with cloud computing experts, such as Google Cloud, to provide the best end-to-end IoT solutions in the industry. We’re also excited to bring GCP’s scale and best-in-class security to our Digital Experiment offering, which is essentially a starting point for a customer’s IoT journey.”
Mario Finocchiaro, Head of GTM, Google Cloud IoT, commented, “Companies are seeking hardware solutions that are pre-integrated with Google Cloud IoT. Partnering with ADLINK gives our customers and partners options for IoT devices and data sources ready to use out of the box.”
Google Cloud is a set of cloud computing solutions that runs on the similar infrastructure that Google internally utilise for its end-user products. Clients can leverage insights from GCP analytics tools such as advanced analytics, artificial intelligence (AI) and machine learning (ML). This helps them in making informed decisions to optimise operations, minimise downtime, enable predictive maintenance, enhance quality and enable the development of new business models and revenue streams.
