The IoT sensor data is coordinated with Infor EAM Asset management software, bringing deeper context by mixing of IoT data and asset transactional data
Infor, a leading provider of business cloud software for Enterprise and SMB firms, announced on Tuesday that Infor Internet of Things (IoT) platform is available in a multi-tenant deployment. Infor IoT platform offers sensor data ingestion of IoT, from anywhere, securely and at scale.
Commenting on the development, Kevin Price, Infor EAM Technical Product Evangelist, said, “Infor will deliver a step change in complex asset management through this IoT platform, and offer its customer base something that has been unattainable in the past.”
“With wide-reaching improvements in energy, efficiency, and performance reliability, organizations can truly understand the condition of a multitude of assets in real-time, through confident aggregation of different sources inside and outside a given solution deployment,” Price added.
The IoT sensor data is coordinated with Infor EAM Asset management software, bringing deeper context by mixing of IoT data and asset transactional data. It also delivers better exception detection, reporting, workflows, artificial intelligence (AI) and data analytics.
Integrated with AWS
Infor IoT is combined with Amazon Web Services (AWS) IoT platform that enables the clients to get the benefits of scalability, security and stability of AWS. In addition, the IoT analytics are offered through Birst, a next-gen cloud-based platform. With Birst, the businesses can aggregate data from thousands of IoT devices and formulate it into reliable metric frameworks. This also enables the businesses to analyse, track and enhance operational efficiency, sales and marketing effectiveness, safety/compliance, and more.
