Tech Data – the global distributor of technology products, services and solutions – is adding analytics and IoT technologies to its solutions portfolio.
The American company on Wednesday launched its Analytics and IoT Solution Factory, expanding on the current offerings available through its Cloud Solution Factory.
Tech Data says the new offering will help to create vetted analytics and IoT solutions that focus on specific use cases in key vertical markets and facilitate simplified deployments and outcomes for partners.
Industry analyst firm IDC projects that by 2021, more than 65 percent of partners will focus efforts on use cases.
Tech Data’s Solution Factory complements its successful Practice Builder methodology to provide partners with outcome-driven, complete solutions, says IDC Infrastructure Channels Research director Pam Miller.
Tech Data includes Intel IoT Market Ready Solutions
For the Analytics and IoT Solution Factory, Tech Data is initially partnering with the Intel IoT Market Ready Solutions.
The Solution Factory methodology will enable Tech Data partners to obtain proven, repeatable solutions while providing speed and scale in the market.
