SCANTA, a leading company in the field of augmented reality (AR) and machine learning (ML), is aggressively looking to expand its presence in India and the US and has been increasing its workforce.
As part of its expansion plans, the company has successfully taken on-board Monette Stephens as its Chief Strategy Officer. Stephens was earlier associated with SF Growth Labs.
The company has already raised investments from the investors based in the US and Germany. It is now aiming to strengthen its position in the market by hiring manpower with proven track record.
To stay ahead of the competition, the company, which is pioneering the work on AR, has been aggressively increasing its manpower in India and the US, in order to leverage the patented technology that will help the AR avatars to emote as per the voice commands on a real-time basis, that too with the support of ML algorithms.
Doubling the headcount
Based in San Francisco, SCANTA has an office in Gurgaon. This year, the company is looking to hire 50 more employees, nearly doubling its headcount.
Commenting on the hiring of Monette Stephens, Chaitanya Hiremath, Founder and CEO, SCANTA, said, “We are looking at aggressive growth momentum in the coming months and we are trying to gear up to match for the momentum.
