Litmus Automation and Siemens partnership will help customers solve their IoT challenges including legacy device integration, advanced edge computing capabilities, etc
Litmus Automation, a leading provider of Industrial Internet of Things (IIoT) platform, has joined Siemens’ MindSphere Partner Program that is meant for IIoT solutions and technology providers.
As per the collaboration, the LoopEdge platform of Litmus that gathers data from industrial devices, is now available on Siemens’ MindSphere, which is an open, cloud-based IoT operating system.
The LoopEdge platform offers capability to connect to any kind of industrial system or programmable logic controller (PLC). The platform has the ability to filter, process and analyse the data at edge having a marketplace of applications and provide security while connecting to the cloud or other enterprise integrations.
LoopEdge platform can also integrate data on to Siemens’ MindSphere in real-time with an easy to use interface. In addition, Litmus Automation provides its users the Loop solution that allows manipulation of data by utilising built-in analytics and real-time visualisation and for managing any connected device, hardware, machine or sensor.
Improve manufacturing processes
Commenting on the partnership, Paul Kaeley, Senior Vice President, Global Partner Ecosystem, Siemens PLM Software, said, “Siemens is committed to creating partnerships that help customers digitally transform with Industrial IoT. Working with Litmus Automation allows us to bring powerful edge computing to the MindSphere ecosystem to improve customers’ ability to gather valuable data from the edge and use it to improve manufacturing processes.”
John Younes, Co-founder and COO at Litmus Automation, said, “Our partnership with Siemens enables us to help more customers solve their IoT challenges including legacy device integration, device lifecycle management, and advanced edge computing capabilities. Customers now have a powerful edge computing solution to collect data from all of their industrial devices and make it available on MindSphere in a quick and easy way.”
Siemens’ MindSphere platform connects products, systems, machines and plants, allowing businesses to leverage the wealth of data created by the IoT with advanced analytics.
