The Roomba i7+ robot vacuum can remember up to 10 different floor plans and room names and is compatible with Alexa-enabled devices
iRobot Corp, a leading consumer robots’ company, announced the availability of its the robot vacuum – Roomba i7+, with Clean Base Automatic Dirt Disposal in India.
This new robotic vacuum cleaner brings a new level of intelligence and automation and has the ability to learn, map and adapt to the floor plan of a house.
Incorporated with Imprint Smart Mapping, the latest product can remember up to 10 different floor plans and room names. The user can also customise the cleaning jobs and give directions to the robot to clean certain rooms by voice command or through the iRobot HOME App.
Advanced robotic vacuum
Commenting on the development, Colin Angle, Chairman and CEO, iRobot Corp, said, “With the ability to learn, adapt to and remember a home’s floor plan, and the introduction of automatic dirt disposal, the iRobot Roomba i7+ represents the most advanced robotic vacuum ever built. This robot delivers on the original vision we had when we embarked on the journey to build a vacuuming robot almost 20 years ago.”
The Roomba i7+ robot vacuum is compatible with Alexa-enabled devices. In addition, it is the only robot vacuum that lets the users’ clean specific rooms by name with a voice command.
When paired with the Clean Base Automatic Dirt Disposal, the robot vacuum return to its base for charging and automatically empties its contents, once finished the cleaning. The Clean Base can hold 30 bins of dirt, that allows the users ease of vacuuming for weeks at a time.
The Roomba i7+ is equipped with iRobot’s patented iAdapt 3.0 Navigation with vSLAM® technology, which helps the robot vacuum to seamlessly and efficiently navigate the home by keeping the track of its position and the area of cleaning.
