With 75F’s Occupant App, facility managers can empower the employees or the occupants to personalise their zone with temperature and lighting control
75F, an Internet of Things (IoT) and machine learning (ML) company, announced the launch of Occupant App – an innovative workplace solution that empowers the occupants to tailor the temperature and lighting in their zones to best suit their comfort needs.
With this latest solution, occupants can turn lights on and off, or adjust dimming settings from 0-100 per cent, all from their mobile phone, even without the need to find the switch or even be present in the area.
Incorporated with predictive, intelligent system, the latest app can help in saving energy costs by up to 50 per cent. The user can also view and manage the energy usage in real-time through 75F’s web and mobile apps.
With the Occupant App, facility managers can empower the employees or the occupants to personalise their zone with temperature and lighting control. They can also provide feedback to the facilities team through the app.
The 75F Occupant App makes individualised control possible with just a tap on the phone screen. The solution also gives remote control to the occupants. If a sudden meeting has been scheduled and they won’t be returning to their cabin, they can switch the lights off using the app. They can even dim the lights according to their preference.
Through the app, occupants can set vacation dates for their zone to allow the HVAC system to drift to building ranges and avoid turning on lights, saving energy for unoccupied office zones.
Commenting on the launch of the solution, Gaurav Burman, VP & APAC President, India, 75F, said, “We thrive on creating intuitive technology, making an impact, and challenging the status quo. 75F’s ability to adapt in a rapidly changing IoT landscape has allowed us to be more prepared to the changing needs of customers and end users. We have ushered in a fundamental paradigm shift in the building automation and controls industry by introducing an innovative workplace solution that empowers the occupants to tailor the temperature and lighting in their zones to best suit their comfort needs.”
“After all, when it comes to thermal and lighting comfort, one size doesn’t fit all and we at 75F understand this. 75F’s Occupant app personalises the indoor environment for each occupant thereby ensuring that each occupant is comfortable, productive and healthy while the system also saves up to 50 per cent on energy consumption,” he added.
