The Living Labs of Infosys allows enterprise adoption of 5G by offering an ecosystem to incubate offerings and to deploy them at scale
Infosys, a global leader in next-gen digital services and consulting, said that it has brought new service offerings that will enable enterprises imagine and develop new economies with 5G technology. These service offerings will also help the communication service providers to accelerate and monetise their deployment of 5G network.
These service offerings will be executed with the help of Infosys’ newly set up 5G Living Labs in five international locations including Bengaluru, Indianapolis, Richardson, Melbourne and Frankfurt.
Infosys’ global network of 5G Living Labs is designed to allow enterprises imagine and curate game changing concepts driven by 5G. The living labs combine the best of the company’s emerging technologies expertise in fields like Internet of Things (IoT), artificial intelligence (AI), augmented reality (AR) and virtual reality (VR), as well as unique design thinking led approaches and a diverse partner ecosystem which is deeply invested in 5G technologies.
Monetising the network
The enterprise adoption of 5G by is the key to monetising the networks for communication services providers (CSPs) and the Living Labs of Infosys allows that by offering an ecosystem to incubate offerings and to deploy them at scale.

Infosys is also developing reference solutions that are based on open source platforms and tools to enable continuous delivery of software using the principles of Network Function Virtualization and Software-Defined Networking.
