Finland has launched a cyber security labelling system to inform consumers of the IoT products that meet digital safety standards. Finnish transport and communications agency, Traficom made the announcement and this system aims to promote secure IoT product lines and spread awareness of the dangers associated with increased connectivity.
The initiative started its development last year and every smart device will have a stamp placed on it to show that it adheres to the country’s cyber security safety guidelines. A website is also available for vendors to become certified with the security badge.
