EdgeVerve’s AssistEdge Discover makes the automation journey simpler for enterprises that are growing at a fast pace and require agility, insight and speed to drive success.
EdgeVerve Systems, a wholly owned subsidiary of Infosys, launched a unique tool – AssistEdge Discover – that is aimed at enhancing the rate of success for automation implementation at the enterprise level via process discovery.
The new tool automates the processes without human bias that may sometimes lead to failure of automation implementation. By removing the human bias and reducing manual process discovery, AssistEdge Discover assists the enterprises in realising their full potential of automation and allow for collaboration, continuous process improvement and effective change management.
Helps Enterprises Prioritise Key Processes
Commenting on the development, Atul Soneja, global head, Edge Products and Infosys Nia, EdgeVerve, said, “Today, with the rise of digital workforce in an enterprise, success is fast becoming outcome driven. The key to automation success is process discovery. The empirical approach to automation through process discovery makes the whole process transparent and amplifies the hidden values of automation impacting return on investment (RoI). This is where AssistEdge Discover helps realise the true value of automation. It helps enterprises prioritise key processes for automation as well as key technologies to amplify business benefits.”
The new tool by EdgeVerve leverages a user keystrokes and neural network algorithms to develop an effective blueprint of automation. The tool offers a clear recommendation that is based on the understanding of how business processes are implemented through the following four pillars:
- Automatic Data Capture: Inputs like mouse and keystrokes from identified users can be monitored and recorded without interfering with the work of employee.
- Remote Management of Data Capture: Administrators control and decide what data is being captured from which users and machines, and at which frequency, to make sure that no business and user-sensitive data is captured.
- Visual Data Analysis and Mapping: Data enrichment and analysis are carried out using advanced neural network and artificial intelligence (AI) algorithms. This creates a visual, data-rich process map that not only shows common paths, but also different variations of the same path.
- Recommendations: These help to identify the automation opportunities and collate them into a dashboard, allowing the enterprise to compare different processes and make an informed decision. Automation recommendations are based on real data and thus help in avoiding manual bias.
The new tool – AssistEdge Discover – makes the automation journey simpler for enterprises that are growing at a fast pace and require agility, insight and speed to drive success. The new tool was uniquely developed to be platform agnostic and work together with other robotic process automation (RPA) tools, allowing an enterprise to manage its processes better across multiple systems.
